Moorhouses have launched two new seasonal beers - Broomstick Bitter (4.2%) and Witchcraft (4.8%) - at the Rising Sun in Blacko, their most recently acquired tied house. They complement the other creepy ales on tap in the pub: Pendle Witches Brew, Blond Witch and Black Cat.

Dave Holden the licencee donned fancy dress to welcome the guests at the Rising Sun Blacko, who also arrived in spooky garb.

To celebrate the Halloween season, Moorhouses have brewed five spooktacular special ales in all, the other three being Black Witch, Witchfinder General and Witches Cauldron (check the Moorhouses site).
