Campaign for Real Ale
Who We Are

The East Lancs branch of CAMRA currently has a membership of around 450 - people of all ages and from 18 to 80 plus, and from all walks of life including accountants, computer programmers, electricians, marketers, project managers, etc.

The branch has a committee of people voted in by members at the Annual General Meeting.

The branch holds monthly meetings which all members are welcome to attend. The purpose of these meetings is obviously to discuss the business of the branch, i.e. local campaign issues, beer festival updates, but there is also a strong emphasis on like-minded souls getting together to have a good time!

In addition, the branch has a social secretary who organises a regular and varied programme of social events, including brewery trips, pub crawls, visits to beer festivals and so on.

Should you join CAMRA, we will be automatically notified and look forward to welcoming you to our oasis of real ale in the North West. Becoming a member is about more than just joining a group, it's a way of finding new friends with a mutual interest in enjoying and promoting great beer!
